    stunning gardens
    refreshing pool
    delicious breakfast
    dining experience
    limited signage

Torre Do Rio effortlessly captured my heart. The gardens pulsate with life, featuring stunning queen palms and vibrantly blue hydrangeas. My spacious Double Room overlooked this breathtaking scene. The unique river-fed natural swimming pool provided a refreshing escape after a long day on the Camino. I spent delightful evenings sipping wine in the terraced garden, surrounded by chirping birds and fluttering butterflies. The morning breakfast was abundant, featuring delicious homemade breads that set the tone for the day. However, the evening dining experience felt slightly less exceptional than the hotel itself. while good, it didn't quite match the overall luxury vibe. Also, navigating the hotel grounds proved somewhat challenging due to limited signage. Still, the ambiance and settings made for a memorable stay worth every moment.

And the gardens were a paradise with manicured lawns and stunning blooms. The breakfast was a feast with homemade breads and local delights. But the staff truly shined, always friendly and ready to assist.

    Nothing to fault.

    lush gardens
    steep dinner prices

The surroundings were enchanting, with lush gardens

that provided a serene backdrop. The staff was incredibly accommodating, helping arrange transportation from Caldas de Reis, which made our arrival seamless. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, although the dinner prices felt a bit steep for some menu items.

    buffet breakfast
    lush gardens
    signage issues

Staying here was a delightful surprise! The kids loved the river-fed pool, and having our dog join us made it even better. We enjoyed an amazing buffet breakfast to kick off our day. Plus, exploring the lush gardens was a treat.

My kids wished for better signage around the property.

    river-fed pool

Couples looking for relaxation should try this

There’s something about that cold plunge in the river-fed pool, it really reset my mind, felt like magic. And when I had dinner under the stars, with fresh flowers on the table and the staff treating us like royalty, I knew this place wasn't just a hotel, it was an experience.

It wasn’t the cheapest place, but honestly, it was worth every penny.

    breathtaking gardens
    unique swimming pool
    attentive staff
    early breakfast

The stay was heavenly! The gardens were a visual delight (I could wander there for hours), and the river-fed pool was a unique experience. The attentive staff and delicious in-room dining truly elevated our moment.

Breakfast could start a bit earlier (we're early risers! ).
